This unique class offers the chance to read and discuss one of the most important books on parenting, How to Raise an Adult, by Julie Lythcott-Haims. During these six sessions, you will learn about age-appropriate responsibilities, the importance of self-sufficiency, the need for children to make their own choices and what behaviors will help children attain maturity.Lythcott-Haims, dean of freshmen at Stanford for ten years and mom of two teens,  provides many valuable insights.
