Life in the Rock Tumbler: Middle School

No one looks back at middle school fondly. It is a time filled with developmental transitions, and changes which leave a kid feeling uncertain and not good enough. As parents, we’d like to be helpful to our children. That begins with gaining perspective on where our kids are developmentally and considering what tools we have to work with.

Join us as we talk about how middle schoolers build their sense of self, how they make friends (or don’t), and how they see themselves. Learn what parents can do to ease this transition and help them become capable, kind young adults.
