We'll read and discuss the book by Julie Lythcott-Haims, a guide for parents to promote kids' independence. Reading assignments and ZOOM links will be sent out to registered participants. Topics will include:

• valuing play and down-time;

• avoiding being"mothers without borders;"

• creating a skills checklist for teens;

• reconsidering our perspective on college admission;

• promoting our kids' self-advocacy and confidence.

Six 1.5 hour sessions, $200.
